Duracell is one of the established brands in the industry of battery manufacturing. Owned by Procter and Gamble, the company produced batteries in different sizes, including AA, AAA and even AAAA. Interestingly, the name of the company has been chosen to mean ‘durable cell’. Power Pix was a new line of batteries introduced by the company in 2006. Based on NiOx technology, these batteries are capable of offering life longer than that offered by the traditional alkaline batteries. These batteries became instant success for devices like digital cameras and those having high drain requirements. Procell is the brand name owned by Duracell under which the professional battery packages are sold to the end users. Duracell pink rabbits are the interesting parts of the advertisement campaigns started by the company that further helped the people to recognize the Duracell batteries.
